Eddy Current Coating Thickness Gauges (4,40 MB)
Photo Gallery - click any photo to enlarge
This PosiTector 6000 coating thickness gage for all metal substrates, is a rugged and fully electronic coating thickness gauges use magnetic and eddy current principles to measure coating thickness on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, accurately and quickly.
PosiTector body accepts all PosiTector 6000 , PosiTector 200 , DPM, PosiTector UTG , RTR and PosiTector SPG probes easily converting from a coating thickness gage to a dew point meter, surface profile gage or wall thickness gage.
FN probes first attempt a measurement using the magnetic principle and will display a reading with the letter "F" if the coating is non-magnetic over steel. If the coating is non-conductive over metal, then the probe will automatically attempt a measurement using the eddy current principle and display a reading with the letter "N".
