Coating thickness measurement on Ferrous & Non-Ferrous substrates are very important to help control costs and quality. Dry-film coating thickness gages are using ndt methods to measure the thickness of non-magnetic coatings (such as paint) on ferrous substrates (steel, iron, nickel) or non-ferrous substrates (aluminum, brass, non-magnetic stainless steel). We carry inexpensive Paint Thickness Gauges as well as more advanced Coating Thickness Testers with built-in or remote probes, most models in stock, at our Brampton, Great Toronto Area location in Ontario, Canada.

Wall thickness measurements on metal or PVC pipes or tubes can be made with ultrasonic thickness meters. Ultrasonic methods permits non-destructive thickness measurements along the total length and require access to only one side of the sample. Ultrasonic Thickness Gages are hand-held, easy to use instruments.

As a Canadian ISO 17025 accredited calibration lab in Ontario we can also offer NIST traceable calibration certificates for coating and ultrasonic thickness gauges.
