The Starrett SR Series Surface Roughness Tester is a full-featured, powerful and versatile surface roughness tester. It can be used either freestanding or bench mounted with fixturing for batch measurement and laboratory applications. Display & Traverse unit; Pick-up & Diamond Stylus; Calibration Std; Manual; and Case. 25mm travel, 360um range, 5nm resolution, Advanced Parameter Set (ISO 4287, ISO 13565, ASME, JIS).

Talyprofile “Lite” has all functions typically used for a shopfloor inspection, Talyprofile “Silver“ has enhanced features for R&W parameters, a statistics module and full report printing and Talyprofile “Gold“ has complete laboratory analysis functions:

While this gauge has passed a quality control check, having a calibration certificate for surface gauges and testers might be required by your quality control system. Digital Measurement Metrology (owner of ProcessInstruments.ca) is a canadian metrology company with more than 25 years of experience. Our Brampton, Ontario based calibration lab has one of the most comprehensive ISO 17025 accredited calibration scope in Canada.
Do you have an old Starrett gauge to be calibrated? We might be able to calibrate Starrett surface gauges and testers (Starrett SR Series or a different model) and provide an ISO, NIST traceable calibration certificate. Please contact our metrology lab for more info.
